I Don't Have Time For Two Visits A Week!

I don’t have time to come in twice a week’

An excuse we hear all the time. When I first started working at Team Peak, I used to believe people when they said this. Now I know that 99% of the time it’s a lie. We all have time, but we also have priorities.

Trying to fit 2x 1 hour sessions in each week may be hard, even fitting 2x 30 minute sessions could be a challenge. That’s understandable. But it’s also why our adjustment sessions aren’t that long. We train long and hard to be able to deliver the service in the shortest time possible. Not just so it’s easier for you to fit in your week, but also so we can help more people.

I’ve worked 4 days this week, and I've seen 113 people over those 4 days. I’ve delivered the best service I can to every single one of those 113 people. Some of those people were families, parents with young children, husbands and wives etc. People that I’ve worked with before and trusted me enough to want me to help their loved ones too. It’s a level of care I pride myself on, that I’m able to help entire families improve their health.

But this week I've also been to the gym 3 times. I've spent 3 evenings in the pub. I've done a health talk at Moddershall Oaks. I've cooked tea every evening, watched a few episodes of Hannibal, and read 2 books.

I'm not saying this to brag. I'm saying this because not only have I had my busiest work week ever, I've also had more than enough time to do the things I enjoy with the people I love.

It would be so easy to get up half an hour before I leave for work, buy a meal deal for my lunch, get a takeaway on the way home, and sit on the sofa all evening. I don't do that, because I have other priorities on my list. I fill my time with things I have to do and things I want to do.

Coming in for 2x 10 minute sessions each week is not difficult, if your health is a priority. There will always be genuine time based reasons why people can't make it work. But if your health is a big enough priority, you'll always find a way.

Stop being lazy. Stop taking the easy route for everything and expecting the best results. If you want anything in life, you have to dedicate time and focus towards it. Your health is no different. Stop making your health worse because you want an easy life and can’t be bothered to factor in the time it takes to be adjusted. It only affects you negatively in the long run.
