Why Every Person Should Continue To Be Adjusted Until The Day They Day!

Nothing in life stays the same!

As the infamous persian adage goes “This too shall pass”, highlighting that neither the bad nor the good moments in life shall last forever.

Metal rusts.
Wood rots.
Teeth decay.
Suns set.

Nothing remains the same.

They are all negative examples however, which if left to nature's course tends to be the case.

However, if action is continually taken the same metal that rusts can be stripped, cleaned and retreated. To restore the metal to its previous glory.

If the newly restored metal is then cleaned, well looked after and protected it will continue to do its job for decades to come.

But it must be continued.

If it is restored then neglected again, what will happen?

It will rust again!

That's not because you didn't restore it properly.

It's because you didn't continue to do the action that restored it originally.

The benefits of something don't stop once it is restored or resolved.

They continue, only different.

Why is this important?

Our physical bodies are no different.

Left alone, for nature to take its course we will all slowly start to degenerate.

Nervous systems are depleted, muscles weaken and shorten, and joints stiff.

But, much like restoring metal.

Through care or treatment of the nervous system, our muscles and joints can be restored to their previous state.

Just because you’re a day or a month or a year older doesn't mean they have to degenerate more.

We know through care they can and will improve.

But in order to keep the benefits after restoring you back to your former glory, you must maintain the actions that got you there in the first place.

If I was to buy an old 80’s mini, pay a mechanic 10’s of thousands of pounds to restore it to pristine condition, then leave it outside, not undercover, open to the elements for 10 years.

To never turn it on, not change the oils or the filters just let it sit for 10 years.

Would it still be in the same pristine condition?

Or

Would it be dirty, rusted, engine seized, pipes clogged? Probably.

Who’s fault would that be, the mechanics? Because he should have done a better job restoring it?

Or, mine?

For not continuing to action to ensure it said that way.

Regularly driving it, washing it, MOTs, services, keeping it undercover and looking after it.

Our bodies are no different.

You need to continue to do the same actions that restored you back to your greatest form. Not as regularly you could argue.

But to that I’d ask, why not? What harm would it do?

But you certainly can't stop and expect to be the same further down the line.

After all, nothing stays the same.

“This too shall pass”.
