Keith is a fantastic example of what can happen when you dive straight in, having jumped at the opportunity when the clinician saw him for his report of findings to discuss his treatment recommendation. She joked that since Peak is open five days a week, they'd see him five days a week if he could make that work, though most people say no and opt for twice a week instead.
Keith was different, wanting to give himself the best possible chance at solving the issues as quickly as he could, and he's now making really good progress, genuinely glad he decided to dive in headfirst and commit to it as fully as possible.

Julie came to see us struggling with tension and a loss of strength in her shoulders as well as her back, which was holding her back considerably, as she found walking, Zumba, yoga, and day-to-day tasks increasingly challenging, and with retirement approaching, she knew she needed to do something so she could enjoy the rest of it doing what she wanted.
Some time on, and a broken wrist along the way, she's back doing Zumba, yoga, and the gym three times a week, on top of chasing after the grandkids! It has genuinely been a pleasure watching your progress and consistency, Julie.

Julie has been part of Peak for some time now. When she first came in, she was dealing with low back pain, heavy and weak legs during exercise, soreness in her right hip and knee while walking, and persistent neck and shoulder discomfort on the same side.
Since then, her original symptoms have improved dramatically, freeing up her energy and confidence to make meaningful lifestyle changes. She's dramatically increased her daily walking and focused on cleaner, fresher food choices and smarter portion sizes, and the results speak for themselves: a fantastic ten-kilogram weight loss, and still going strong.
It's the power of small, sustainable changes to movement and meals, made consistently over time, combined with regular care, that has delivered these results for Julie. Proof that when your body works better, everything else follows.

Julie first came to see the clinician for a knee health check, struggling with pain on the inside of her knee, especially when bending down or trying to stand up. Her GP told her she didn't need surgery, advising her simply to keep taking painkillers, but Julie wasn't satisfied with that answer, so she decided to take matters into her own hands.
She's now partway through a structured treatment plan and already feeling the difference: her knee feels stronger, she's not experiencing any pain in it, and she's steadily regaining her confidence in movement.

Julie runs Betty's tea room in Ashbourne, so she spends a considerable amount of time on her feet every day. This makes it especially important for her to keep her body in the best possible condition so she can continue working comfortably.
She enjoys coming in for her weekly sessions with the team, alongside her weekly pilates classes, and finds that staying consistent with both makes a genuine difference to how she feels.

Julie has been coming to see the clinician for a few years now, and her daughter Kirsty comes along every time she's home from university.
Kirsty is the clinician's biggest cheerleader, finding every session so satisfying that she gives a running commentary of "wow, that was amazing" each time. Julie isn't quite as enthusiastic as most people about it, but she still enjoys the benefits and keeps coming back for more.

Julie joined Peak after years of dealing with ongoing discomfort following a lumbar discectomy. Pain through her lower back and into her neck had been affecting her sleep and daily routine for a considerable time.
Since beginning care, she noticed relief almost immediately, helping her rest better and move more comfortably. Now, she's back to enjoying her active lifestyle — with both regular gym and yoga classes — and feeling far more in control of her wellbeing again.

John started coming to Peak after his son recommended it, having previously tried this kind of care without much success, spending a lot of money for very little tangible benefit, which left him understandably skeptical going in. His son, however, had made great progress with the clinician, so John was willing to give it a go, and from day one he felt genuinely convinced this was the right place for him.
Already, John is noticing considerably less lower back pain and greater stability in his knee. At 79 years old, he's living proof that age doesn't matter, and that it's never too late to meaningfully improve your health.

When Janet first arrived at Peak, she was noticeably hesitant. She had barely visited a GP in decades and held little faith in the medical system. The clinician who treated her put her at ease immediately, impressing even her daughters with how comfortable she quickly became.
Janet now visits every week to see the team, consistently leaving with a spring in her step and a smile on her face. Initially, her daughter had to bring her to the clinic since she couldn't manage the walk from home, but eventually Janet began walking in independently, though it took her thirty minutes and several rest breaks along the way. These days she completes the same walk in fifteen minutes without stopping, before meeting a friend for coffee afterwards.
Janet has genuinely regained her independence, and couldn't be more grateful for it.

This is Jane, who has been coming to Peak for some time now. She originally came in seeking help for leg, foot, and knee pain, alongside some sciatica that had been making everyday activities more challenging.
Since her previous session, Jane reported feeling a huge difference, and was even able to dance at her daughter's wedding, something she's absolutely thrilled about. She's continuing her treatment with Peak to keep building on that progress and improving her overall quality of life.

When James first came to Peak, years of playing rugby alongside a physically demanding job had taken their toll, leaving him struggling just to turn or move his head, with even looking upward proving a real challenge.
Since then, the transformation has been remarkable: James can now touch his toes, look up, and turn his head freely, and he's even considering returning to the pitch for Leek. Alongside the physical progress, he's achieved his goal of losing weight and improving his diet, and welcomed a little son into his life, all while remaining a member here throughout.
Comparing James now to when he first walked through the door, he's a completely different person. The clinician who has worked with him throughout is looking forward to being part of the next chapter, helping ensure the progress already made continues to build.

Jacki came to Peak struggling with migraines that had followed her since her teenage years, often bringing on headaches and nausea that made it hard to keep working. She joined a free headache health check, and her initial consultation revealed a lot of stiffness and restriction through her neck, along with several other issues that hadn't been picked up before.
From there, she began a structured care plan of regular sessions with the clinician, working steadily to correct what had been found. Before long, Jacki noticed her migraines were becoming less frequent and easier to manage, lasting for a shorter time when they did appear.
Now, Jacki is only getting the odd headache. She's noticed real improvements in her flexibility and is finally able to focus on keeping a healthy work/life balance, something that once felt out of reach.
