Janice, a spritely 72-year-old, is half way through her 1st Chapter of care, and is already experiencing noticeable improvements in her low back, hip, and knee pain. Following her most recent mini progress visit, we've also noticed an increase in her balance, coordination, and upper body flexibility.
This is all in good time for her to explore Japan with her niece for three weeks, with care continuing when she returns. Overall, genuinely great results so far!

When I first started treating Jane, she was 20cm away from being able to touch her toes, something she had never once managed in her entire life (55 years), and she had no confidence whatsoever in her body, particularly her knees, believing it genuinely impossible and even making a bet with me that I couldn't make it happen.
Since then, she has become able to touch the floor completely pain-free while keeping her legs straight, with no worry or issue at all.

Our clinician wanted to celebrate the amazing achievement of his client Jamie, who has been with the practice for a good while now and has recently joined the "unofficial" 100 visits club.
More importantly, Jamie has recently lost 29lbs, or 2 stone 5lbs, through consistent calorie tracking, a controlled deficit, and regular exercise.
The clinician says: "It's been a privilege adjusting and talking to Jamie throughout his health journey and the amazing progress he has made, very inspirational."

Alan was genuinely sceptical when he first came in for his initial consultation. His daughter had recommended him to us, since she'd been a client herself for years and had made noticeable improvements, though she was still working through a few issues of her own, so it was understandable that Alan wasn't convinced this would work for him. We talked him through how our approach has developed over that time, and got him adjusted so he could genuinely feel the difference for himself, and that was enough for him to decide he was ready to give it a proper go. He's still less than a third of the way through his initial recommended plan, and he's already noticing real improvements: less pain, better movement, and even better golf.

Alex arrived at Team Peak carrying a lower back problem that had persisted for thirty years, one that gradually left him feeling weak and fragile through his lower back. That fragility had begun affecting his everyday life, eroding his confidence as sitting or standing for any extended duration became a genuine struggle. Since beginning his care, supported by our unique BRT system, Alex has steadily rebuilt his confidence in his own body. He recently attended a wedding and managed to sit and stand comfortably throughout, without a single issue from his back. Thank you, Alex, for trusting our team with your recovery.

Alan had been living with ongoing pain that the NHS had been managing through painkillers, with the only prognosis on offer being that whenever things got worse, he should simply take more medication, or something stronger. Given that Alan was already taking opioids, he wasn't satisfied with that as a long-term solution.
Since starting care with Team Peak, Alan has begun reducing the medication he relies on, while feeling significantly better in himself.
His experience raises a simple question for anyone facing something similar: do you wait quietly for things to get worse, or do you take your own health into your own hands, the way Alan did, and start putting things right?

This is Amy, who first came to Peak with neck and shoulder pain, along with a clicking feeling in her shoulder whenever she moved and increasingly disrupted sleep. She was training for a physically demanding job and living an active lifestyle, so restoring proper function in her shoulders and easing the pain and stiffness mattered a great deal to her. Since starting treatment, Amy has noticed a real difference in how she feels, with her sleep and mobility both improving steadily. She continues to build on that progress, working with the team at Peak to keep her health moving in the right direction.

Angela had been experiencing migraines regularly following a car accident, and they had been increasing in frequency. When a migraine took hold, she was left debilitated by accompanying vomiting and an inability to bear light, retreating to a dark room until it passed, then needing a full day afterwards just to recover.
Since starting care, Angela has had only one migraine. A couple of times she felt one building, but it always subsided before taking hold. Alongside this, her balance has improved by 20 seconds on her right leg and 7 seconds on her left, while her upper body flexibility has increased by 4cm.
Feeling and functioning at her best matters to Angela because she wants to stay an active grandma, and to remain strong and available for the family members she regularly helps, whether that's driving them to appointments or simply being there when needed.
She is still only part of the way through her care with Team Peak, and is already feeling the benefits.

Angie first came to Team Peak experiencing shoulder pain, which was soon followed by lower back pain along her left side, accompanied by numbness travelling down her left leg. Over the course of her treatment, she has gradually left both the shoulder and lower back pain behind, but it was an unexpected moment that meant the most to her: for the first time in sixty-eight years, she managed to bend forward and touch her toes. Convinced this wasn't possible, she made a bet with the clinician that she wouldn't manage it, and once she proved herself wrong, she insisted on a photograph as proof, something she could finally show anyone who doubted her, herself included.

The clinician who treats Ann has been working with her for a good while now, and has consistently seen her maintain a genuinely active lifestyle throughout that time, keeping a large garden and growing a good amount of her own fruit and vegetables, which means she's regularly outside, digging, planting, and tending to everything that needs attention.
She also loves getting outside and spending time doing things with her family, and recently set herself the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis. It turned out to be a genuinely difficult undertaking, with the weather firmly against her, but she reached the summit and made her way back down again, hobbling for the final stretch of the descent.
Despite how much she continues to use and push her body, Ann feels better than she has in years.

Anthony is now in the second phase of his care plan at Peak, which today centres around Myofascial treatment. When he first came in, we discovered a lack of flexibility and mobility across several of his joints, and progress has been steady ever since, with the biggest gains coming since his treatment shifted focus to Myofascial work. He's now reaching twelve centimetres on his finger-to-floor test, the closest he's ever managed. There's still more ground to cover, but Anthony continues to move forward with his health journey, one session at a time.

Brian came to see us a while back, struggling to stand up straight and finding it difficult to walk any real distance, and since starting regular sessions with us, twice a week, he's already up and moving about again, remarkably still only a quarter of the way through his recommended treatment plan. We can't wait to see how much further he progresses from here.
